Please note that Outer Space does not insure the contents of units. Outer Space accepts NO LIABILITY for loss of or damage to the goods belonging to renters. We strongly urge renters to purchase separate insurance for coverage of goods. Please contact your insurance broker to ensure that your possessions are adequately covered.
Can I pay for my storage unit rental time in advance?
Yes. At the time of payment, simply let us know how long you want to rent your unit for and we will calculate the cost for you.
Can I access my unit in the evening?
Yes. The Outer Space premises are well lit, safe and secure so you can feel comfortable visiting any time of day or night.
Will you help me move my belongings into the units?
No. You must bring adequate help to move your belongings into your units. However, a hand truck and trolleys are available on site to help you move your belongings. All equipment must be returned promptly for use by other customers.
Do I need to buy a lock?
No. Outer Space provides locks FREE OF CHARGE.
How much notice do I have to give when I want to vacate my unit?
We require 30 days notice.
Is smoking permitted in the Outer Space facilities?
No. Outer Space is a 100% NON-SMOKING environment. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises, including the parking lot, units, or offices.
Packing supplies are available for purchase including:

How secure is Outer Space?
Our state of the art security system protects your belongings and all of our units with 24/7 surveillance cameras. Our team ensures that surveillance equipment is working at all times and recording all activity clearly to ensure our premises are safe and secure.
Is there any problem with mice?
Furry little visitors are a very rare occurrence. With that in mind, we do retain the services of a certified pest controller, as well as use traps on the premises as a proactive, preventative measure.
What items are NOT PERMITTED in the storage units?
Items not permitted to be stored in the units include all flammable, corrosive or explosive materials. This includes gasoline, paint, dynamite, turpentine, antifreeze, firearms and ammunition. If you are unsure if your items are permitted, please contact us.
Are pets and children allowed on the premises?
To ensure the cleanliness of our facilities and to ensure the safety of everyone on the premises, PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED. Outer Space facilities are not child-proof, so we do request that you look after your children. Note: Pest control measures are used within and around the facility which might prove harmful to small children or pets if touched or ingested.
